Deane, Linda M.

Linda M. Deane is a poet, essayist, storyteller and literary activist, also known as The Summer Storyteller. She is co-founder with Robert Edison Sandiford of ArtsEtc, a publishing and cultural forum in Barbados, and co-editor of Shouts from the Outfield: The ArtsEtc Cricket Anthology. She is winner of the Frank Collymore Literary Endowment and a Governor General's Award for Literary Excellence. Her work appears in Caribbean and international publications including Bim: Arts for the 21st Century, Cordite Poetry Review, and Give The Ball to the Poet. Her first poetry collection, Cutting Road Blues: A Narrative is in press.
